Our policies have been written in line with the Pre-School Learning Alliance and Ofsted guidelines. They are regularly reviewed and updated by the Nursery Managers to maintain high standards and ensure our setting provides an enjoyable and beneficial experience for you and your child. Our policies can be viewed in the nursery foyer, and copies of all our policies are available upon request. If you would like us to go through any of our policies with you, please don’t hesitate to ask.
We are able to offer the Nursery Education Grant, which entitles your child to up to 15 hours of free childcare, which we deduct from your monthly nursery invoice. You will become eligible for this starting from the term after your child’s third birthday, and will be asked to confirm your child’s sessions in writing termly, as well as providing us with evidence of their date of birth.
Employer Childcare Vouchers
We are able to accept tax exempt Childcare Vouchers from your employer which could save you money.
The Childcare Voucher scheme was introduced to assist working parents with childcare costs. Childcare vouchers can be used to pay for childcare costs for children under 15. The Vouchers are Tax and National Insurance exempt for up to a maximum of £55 per week or £243 per month. This amount of your salary/wage does not attract Tax or National Insurance contributions and therefore becomes a saving for you, leaving you with more disposable income. You could save between £962 and £1,195 per year depending on your tax band and salary level. Both parents can request to take part of their salary/wage as Childcare Vouchers, therefore doubling the saving.
Speak to your employer for more details of whether they can offer you this scheme.
